Contemporary art brought us to Ca'Inua.
As in many personal evolutions, the "youthful" enthusiasm of the artistic project slowly gave way to disillusionment and criticism of a system that we did not feel resonated with us in any of its declinations.
From criticism we have arrived at radical rejection, at the denial of the very heart of our research. We needed to get away, we got on board and like sailors who have been at sea for too long we longed for the land until it found us.
Having landed in the Apennines we soon understood that the strong voice that was calling us was that of Mother Earth, we thought of responding with agriculture but we realized that it was not from the cultivated/abled fields that that voice came but from the woods, from a wild place that claimed a space within us.
The relationship with the earth, with plants, with animals, with the invisible is the path we have chosen to reconnect with Mother Earth and the Living Universal Principle.
Over the years our work has changed but has always remained alive albeit taking more hidden and intimate turns following individual aptitudes in Alessandra and Ludovico but which originate and converge in the same points. Alessandra found her external way in the herbs and Ludovico found her in the woods.
The choice, the will, the desire to continue working in this artistic field is expressed, at the moment, in the work ARE YOU AWARE OF YOUR SYMBIOTIC CONNECTION? and in having created a seasonal space, a yurt tent, for artist residencies and the organization of workshops, meetings, workshops and moments of discussion.
Furthermore, the Ca'Inua chestnut grove hosts a Mongolian yurt, created to be mainly a space dedicated to art.
The theme of reconnection with Nature and interspecies relationships will be the common thread of artist residencies, workshops, meetings, workshops and moments of discussion in a constantly evolving seasonal calendar.
